Benevolent Fund

The Engineers Ireland Benevolent Fund provides much needed financial assistance to engineers in need and their families.

What is the Benevolent Fund?

The Engineers Benevolent Fund, in existence for 40 years, provides financial support for a wide range of special circumstances including support for elderly or retired engineers, those suffering illnesses and to the families of deceased engineers.

The Engineers Ireland Benevolent Fund Committee strive to make every effort to ensure that the fund receives as many donations as possible, should such situations occur.   Engineers or their families who are in dire need can approach the committee who run the fund in the knowledge that there will be some financial assistance available to them.

The Fund helped approximately 20 families in need during the period 2008 to 2009.

The officers of the fund are:

The Benevolent Fund is supported by:

  • Donations from Engineers Ireland members & regional events such as golf outings etc.
